TrailBlazer Baseball Splits Series with SEARK
ASU-Mountain Home baseball split a conference series with Southeast Arkansas to maintain their position in a tie for second place on the east side of region II.

Game 1:
The TrailBlazers came out to open the series on Wednesday swinging hot bats as they exploded for 19 runs on 14 hits to win game 1 vs. SEARK. Keaton Matlick earned the win on the mound for ASUMH pitching a complete game with 5 strikeouts. Broc Mattox and Ty Watkins paced the offense each having 3 hits and Mattox leading the way with 3 runs batted in on 2 doubles.
Game 2:
In game 2 SEARK flippd the script and came out swinging hot themselves as they scoered 26 runs on 18 hits to win game 2 of the series.
Game 3:
As the series moved to Pine Bluff for the final two games, the TrailBlazers used a combination of timely hitting as well as a great pitching performance by Matt Byars who would earn the complete game win throwing all 7 innings and striking out 7 Shark hitters. JD Hertzog lead the way for the TrailBlazer offense with 3 hits including a homerun.
Game 4:
SEARK would jump out to a 6 run lead early in the game eventaully winning game 4 by the score of 10-6. ASUMH would add 6 runs of their own in the 7th inning to make a game of it before SEARK answered with 4 more runs to stretch the lead to the final score of 10-6. JD Hertzog & Chase Plowman both collected two hits
TrailBlazer Baseball returns to the field on Monday, April 6th as they host Mission JV in a 1:00pm Double Header. ASUMH will then welcome the Greyhounds of ASU-MidSouth to Mountian Home opening their next conference series.
